Our Policies
Equitable Distribution of Wealth
The Party affirms that natural resources belong to all members of the Eritrean people, and that their management must be based on transparency, accountability, and justice, with an equitable distribution of revenues between the federal government and the regions in a manner that promotes balanced development and addresses the consequences of historical marginalization.
Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms
The Party is committed to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and relevant international conventions, and affirms that human dignity is inviolable and that all citizens are equal before the law without discrimination on the basis of race, language, religion, gender, regional or political affiliation.
Political Pluralism and Democracy
The Party considers the peaceful transfer of power, free elections, and multiparty pluralism to be the foundation of political legitimacy. The Party rejects all forms of personal rule and authoritarianism and believes in the establishment of a civil democratic state that respects the Constitution, the separation of powers, and the independence of institutions.
